Wilmington's Fashion Scene

I finally made it to Wilmington North Carolina to visit my best friend from high school who was in a fashion show. The downtown is so cute capturing the beachy essence without being too kitschy. With little vintage shops and boutiques on every corner. I'm so glad I went.

The whimsical Headband

I found this headband on etsy. I just love the playfulness and elegance of the floating cloud. It's refreshing to see a headband that steers clear of the typical bird feathers that everyone's wearing now. I also like the backdrop of her photo, it fits the piece so nicely don't you think?

New Obsession

My new obsession is Tough Love, this little boutique just on the outskirts of NC State. It's refreshing to have a bit of fashion amidst the red brick and pickup trucks. 

The lost Urban Top

As insignificant as this may be, I tried this shirt on at urban outfitters about 2 weeks ago (and yes this is a dressing room cell phone pic.) and now, it's nowhere to be found! It was one of those purchases that at the time seemed like too much money.... but now all I can't get it off my mind. It's just so cute and perfect for spring.. let me know if anyone finds it...

The Cupcake Shoppe off of Glenwood had a free cupcake tasting

Adorable strawberry champagne, chocolate raspberry, plain jane, chocolate truffle cupcakes, friendship, and 70 degree weather in February. Utopia.
